Step 7. Right-click on the file and select the Rename option. Then make a new name.

Step 8. Go back to the location where you stored a backup of your game’s saved data, search for the original save file, and right-click on the original file to choose the Rename option.

Step 9. Now, input the name of the most recent saved file and restart your computer to check if your files have been recovered.

Step 1. Launch your Steam client and go to the LIBRARY section.
