- When you get to the GMX Mail signup page, you can enter a preferred email address and choose an email address suffix. You can choose @gmx.com or @gmx.us.
- Continue to enter your personal information, e.g. gender, first name and last name, country and state, and date of birth.
- Next, you can choose a password for your GMX account, at least 8 characters. Reenter the password.
- Then, you can choose a password recovery option that helps you restore your password if you forget it. You can enter your phone number and choose to send the verification code by SMS. Alternatively, you can choose to send the verification information by email.
- At last, tick the “I’m not a robot” box. Click the “I agree. Create an email account now” button to create a free GMX email account.

- After you create a free GMX email account, next time you can go to https://www.gmx.com/ and click the Log In button at the top-right.
