You will have a new empty Fortnite folder at the new download location. Then copy the Fortnite backup created before to the new folder. If you’re informed there are files with the same name, click the Replace the files in the destination. This will overwrite the incomplete download files with the files from your backup.

Continue the Installation

Once the above steps are finished, you need to open Epic Games Launcher again and resume the installation process. The Epic Games Launcher will begin to scan the Fortnite directory.
