To update the original Surface Dock, you need to download the MSI file. This file has replaced the Surface Dock firmware updater. Here is the guide:
- Go to Download Surface Tools for IT.
- Click Download.
- Under Choose the download you want, select the latest version of the Surface Dock Firmware Update file. It is a .msi file and its name will start with “Surface_Dock_FWUpdate” and a version number.
- Click Next to download this file.
