Overview of Micro 10 SE & Micro 10

Micro 10 is the first Win10 22H2 Ultralight Build from Windows X-Lite and it is created based on Windows 10 22H2 Pro (Build 19045.3324) AMD64. This build only offers basic features to meet most users’ needs. In control, stability, style, privacy, and performance, Windows X-Lite Micro 10 revolutionizes the system.

Micro 10 SE is another edition of Micro 10 22H2 and it is a special release based on the Original Micro 10 release. It is created based on Windows 10 22H2 Pro (Build 19045.3757). This lite OS brings exciting new changes to wallpapers, cursors, and themes.

Micro 10 & SE disable Windows Update Service and Windows Firewall by default but you can enable them via the X-Lite Tools Folder in the Start Menu. To use the Microsoft Store and install additional Language Packs, you need to enable Windows Update Service.

Both of these two X-Lite builds enable Virtual Memory by default, improve performance and stability, and bring extreme performance for your apps and games. Like other Windows builds, they remove some features like Cortana, Edge, BitLocker, Hyper-V, WSL2, One Drive, etc., and disable some features like Indexing, UAC, Ads, Error Reporting, Hibernation, and more. Besides, DirectPlay and SMB1 are enabled.

Micro 10 22H2 Download ISO

To get the ISO file of Micro 10 22H2, open a web browser and visit the page: https://windowsxlite.com/M10_22H2/. This page offers three editions:

• Windows X-Lite Micro 10
• Windows X-Lite Micro 10 SE [x86]
• Windows X-Lite Micro 10 SE [x64]

Choose a build based on your needs to enter a new webpage. Then, scroll down to the bottom and tap on the Download Link button. Next, click DOWNLOAD to get a ZIP folder. Later, extract all the content from this folder and you can find the ISO file.

Install Windows X-Lite Micro 10/SE

After getting the Micro 10 ISO download file or Micro 10 SE ISO, it is time to install one build on your computer. Note that the installation will completely erase your entire hard drive. Thus, make sure you back up your PC before proceeding.

Step 1: Connect a USB flash drive to your PC.

Step 2: Download and open Rufus, choose the ISO file you have downloaded, and then create a bootable USB drive.
