How to Fix Only Balanced Power Plan Available on Windows 10/11?
Preparation: Check If Your PC Are Using Modern Standby Mode S0
Modern Standby S0 is the most recent power-saving mode available on laptops and tablets. Once you enabled this feature on your computer, it will not use other power plans except Balanced Power Plan. If you see only Balanced Power Plan available on your computer, you can check if your computer has enabled this feature:
Step 1. Type cmd in the search bar to locate Command Prompt and right-click on it to select Run as administrator.
Step 2. In the command window, type powercfg /a and hit Enter to check if Modern Standby S0 is enabled on your computer. If you find Modern Standby S0 is activated on your device, follow the solutions below to disable it.
Fix 1: Disable Modern Standby S0 via Registry Editor

Fix 3: Change BIOS Settings
Some computers have an option called Other OS in the BIOS menu. This option allows you to install some other operating systems like Linux. Enabling this option will help you to fix power plans missing Windows 10/11 for you. To do so:

Step 2. Under the Boot category, locate the OS Type option > hit Enter > set it to Other OS to unlock all other power plans in Windows 10.
