What should you do if you want to create your own Tiny11 – a Windows 11 lightweight version? Tiny11Builder can help you to build a light version of Windows 11 with the official Windows 11 ISO file. See this post from MiniTool and you can find much information about this tool and how to use it.
Compared to Windows 10, Windows 11 requires a mass of RAM and CPU resources. Windows 11 system requirements are high and old and underpowered PCs cannot run this new operating system. To experience this brand-new system, Tiny11 is popular with many users who have old or unsupported PCs. This Windows 11 lite version removes many cumbersome components and apps to run smoothly on a device with 8GB of disk space and 2 GB of RAM.
However, not everyone trusts a third-party Windows 11 ISO. If don’t want to risk using that ISO, here is a way for you to create your own Tiny11. The developer of Tiny11 – NTDEV also releases a script called Tiny11Builder. With it, you can create a light version with a downloaded official Windows 11 ISO file.

What Is Tiny11Builder
Tiny11Builder is a free tool that can be used to remove unnecessary parts from Windows 11. With a few simple steps, you can get Windows 11 Home, Pro, Education, and Enterprise.
What are the unnecessary components and apps deleted from the official Windows 11 ISO by Tiny11Builder? OneDrive, Microsoft Edge, Weather, News, GetHelp, PowerAutomate, Internet Explorer, Speech supports, Office Hub, QuickAssist, PeopleApp, Microsoft ToDo, Alarms, Maps, Your Phone, Media Player, Media Player Legacy, Wallpapers, Solitaire, Xbox (Xbox Identity provider is still), TTS for en-us, and more are removed by Tiny11Builder.
Although Tiny11Builder deletes many apps, it allows you to install them if necessary. Cortana and Teams are still here but you can choose to delete them. Besides, although Microsoft Edge is deleted, there is an icon on the desktop and a ghost of its taskbar pin is still available. In the Settings, some related content still remains. The app itself is removed.
In addition, Tiny11Builder also removes the requirements for TPM, CPU, and 4GB of RAM, as well as the Microsoft account requirement during OOBE (initial setup). Besides, only en-us x64 is supported but you can replace it with a language you need.
Note that Tiny11Builder only supports build 22621.525, 22621.1265, and 25300 currently (when we write this post). If you can’t wait to create your own Tiny11, move to the next part to know how to do this task.
How to Build Your Own Tiny11 with Tiny11Builder
It is not hard to get your own Windows 11 lite version like Tiny11 and see the steps to know how to do it:
Step 1: Download 22621.525 (the one that can be downloaded via Microsoft’s official download page) or 25300 (the latest Insider build) from the Microsoft Insider Preview page or get 22621.1265 (the latest public build) via UUP Dump.
Step 2: Mount the downloaded Windows 11 ISO.
Step 2: Go to https://github.com/ntdevlabs/tiny11builder and click Code > Download ZIP to get the tiny11builder-main.zip folder. Extract all the content in this folder.
Step 3: Right-click on one script of Tiny11Builder and choose Run as administrator.
- For 22621.1265, run tiny11 creator.bat
- For 22621.525, run tiny11 creator 22621.525.bat
- For 25300, run tiny11 creator 25300.bat
Step 4: Enter the driver letter (without a colon) of the mounted ISO in the new window, for example, H.
Step 5: Type the index number to choose the edition you want to modify.
Step 6: After the image is completed, you can see the tiny11.iso in the extracted tiny11builder-main folder with scripts.
You can burn this new tiny11.iso file to your USB flash drive via Rufus, then use the bootable USB drive to boot your PC, and then finish the setup of Windows 11.
After getting the tiny edition, you can choose to create a system image for the system with MiniTool ShadowMaker. Once it crashes, you can restore Windows 11 to a normal state.
